Membership Categories
NAWBO-LA Membership is open to sole proprietors, partners and corporate owners
with day-to-day management responsibility. Local chapter members are automatically
enrolled as national members, multiplying the value of membership and influence. Membership is recorded in the name of the individual, not the organization. Dues are non-refundable and are subject to change. Established Business Owner
(Annual Dues: $345 new/$320 renewal)
- Owns an equity interest and actively participates in a business as a sole proprietor, an active partner of a partnership or active member of a limited liability company, an independent contractor, or a 5% or greater shareholder in a corporation
- Subscribes to the mission and vision of NAWBO-LA
- Files a schedule C or F, receives IRS Tax Form 1099 from client(s), or files corporate or partnership tax returns
- Maintains an office (including home offices) or a business facility
- Is involved in the policy-making process and overall day-to-day management of the business
- Has been a business owner for more than two (2) years
Emerging Business Owner
(Annual Dues: $305 new/$280 renewal)
- A first time business owner with a new business less than two (2) years old, or who has not yet started her business
Supporting Member
(Annual Dues: $385 new/$360 renewal)
- A non-business owner who subscribes to the objectives of NAWBO-LA and wish to lend support through membership
NAWBO-LA/Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce: Associate Membership
(Annual Dues: $405 new Established/$365 new Emerging)
- Members must meet the eligibility requirements of NAWBO-LA Established or Emerging
membership or are already a NAWBO-LA member in good
standing to qualify for the associate membership with the LA Chamber of Commerce.
This introductory offer is valid for only 2 years and provides the member with
benefits from both organizations.
NAWBO-LA Corporate Membership
(Annual Dues: $2,500/ year)
- Annual corporate memberships are granted to companies who subscribe to the mission
of NAWBO-LA and wish to actively support our endeavors through a corporate partnership.
