Loreen Arbus - President/Executive Producer, Loreen Arbus Productions,
Inc.
Loreen Arbus runs her own television production company, Loreen Arbus Productions,
Inc. (Los Angeles and New York City). The company focuses on nonfiction programming:
specials, series, documentaries, and movies for network, cable, syndication
and the Internet. She is the first woman in the United States to have headed
programming for national cable television networks, both Showtime and the Cable
Health Network, which later became Lifetime. Emmy nominated, she has written
many episodic television scripts, six nonfiction books, and is a writer and
contributing editor for several national magazines and newspapers. Arbus is
a member of the Writers Guild, Producers Guild, Authors Guild, Screen Actors
Guild, and AFTRA, as well as the Southern California Trusteeship and New York
Women’s Forum. She serves on numerous boards, including the Museum of
Television & Radio; the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation;
the Producers Guild of America; United Cerebral Palsy—the Research Foundation
and the National organization; Harvard Medical School Advisory Committee for
Neurobiology; Harvard School of Public Health; The Women’s Leadership
Board at the JFK School of Government, Harvard; Women of Washington/Los Angeles;
Israel Cancer Research Fund; and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Her many
honors include the “Heart of Giving Award” in 2001 presented by
President William Jefferson Clinton. In 2002, she was named one of 40 Leading
Women Entrepreneurs of the World in the annual award event, held that year in
Paris, France. Arbus is also a professional Argentine Tango dancer-choreographer
who previously headed a touring dance company, Ritmo Tango™.

Gabrielle Bullock - Managing Director, Perkins + Will
Gabrielle Bullock is Managing Principal for the Perkins + Will Los Angeles office.
Perkins + Will is a national and international architecture firm of 750 employees
and 14 offices. The Los Angeles practice of 100 plus employees specializes in
healthcare, education facilitiesm, and science & technology architecture.
As Managing Principal, Bullock is responsible for the strategic and financial
leadership of the Los Angeles practice. She previously served as the Co-Director
of Operations for the L.A. practice under her predecessor. Bullock has been
with Perkins+Will for more than 16 years, including time spent in both the New
York and California practices. In her 20 years in architecture, she has focused
on project management and the planning of large, complex projects. As Project
Manager for the UCLA Westwood Replacement Hospital, she oversees a $400 million
project undertaken after the existing facility suffered extensive damage in
the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. She was also Project Manager on the USC Zilhka
Neurogenetic Institute. Bullock is a member of the American Institute of Architects
(AIA) and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). She holds
a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation, established
by U.S. Green Building Council, for architects who have advanced knowledge and
understanding of environmentally-friendly design. Bullock is a graduate of the
Rhode Island School of Design, with bachelor’s degrees in architecture
and art. Her husband, Rocky Carroll, is an actor. The couple has a three-year-old
daughter.

Jane Pisano, Ph.D. - President & Director, Natural History Museum
of Los Angeles County
Dr. Jane G. Pisano is President and Director of the Natural History
Museum of Los Angeles County, the largest natural and historical museum in the
Western United States. The Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits and the William
S. Hart Museum are part of the museum’s operations. Dr. Pisano previously
served as USC’s Senior Vice President for External Relations, overseeing
the university’s alumni relations, civic and community relations, government
relations and public relations. Before that, as Dean of the USC School of Public
Administration, she oversaw its revitalization and reorganization. She led development
of a civic action agenda as president of the Los Angeles 2000 Committee and
The 2000 Partnership, civic organizations working to improve the quality of
life in Southern California through preparation of a strategic plan, "L.A.
2000: A City for the Future." She has served on numerous boards and civic
organizations. Currently, she is president of the John Randolph Haynes and Dora
Haynes Foundation Board of Trustees, and serves on the Board of Governors of
the California Community Foundation and on the Board of Directors of WellPoint,
Inc. Dr. Pisano was previously on the faculty of Georgetown University's School
of Foreign Service and served as a White House Fellow on the National Security
Council staff. She holds master’s and doctorate degrees in international
relations from the Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s in political
science from Stanford University. Dr. Pisano’s husband, Mark, is executive
director of the Southern California Assn. of Governments. The couple has three
grown children and two grandsons.

Andrea Schaffer, MA, CLU, ChFC - Rangel/Schaffer of Pacific Advisors,
Inc.
Andrea Schaffer is partners with Marguerite Rangel JD, CLU, ChFC, at Rangel/Schaffer
of Pacific Advisors, Inc. Their practice focuses on all aspects of planning
for individuals and businesses, including private and public institutions. They
serve clients nationwide and work extensively in all aspects of executive benefit
planning, including estate tax funding and business succession matters. Before
relocating to Pacific Advisors, Schaffer worked for Northwestern and was one
of only six women among 125 Northwestern representatives in the Los Angeles
office and has reached the industry’s “Million-Dollar Round Table”
for top earners. Prior to becoming a financial services professional, Schaffer
spent seven years in the restaurant industry, working at some of Los Angeles’
top restaurants. She was a pastry chef at actor Dudley Moore’s 72 Market
Street, a journeyman chef at L'Hermitage in Beverly Hills and the food &
beverage director for the Los Angeles Equestrian Center’s banquet rooms
and ballrooms. Schaffer earned her bachelor of arts in English from UCLA and
a master of arts in English literature from Claremont Graduate School. She received
her Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Life Underwriter degrees from
the American College in Bryn Mawr, Penn. She belongs to the Association for
Advanced Life Underwriting, an association for those financial services professionals
who work on complex business and estate planning. She is active in the Pasadena
Chamber of Commerce. Her husband, Daniel Hurst, is a Warner Brothers project
manager.
