Wendy Mitchell
Principal, WM Consulting, Inc.
As principal of WM Consulting, Inc., Wendy Mitchell brings to the firm an impressive 10-year record of senior strategic positions in both California state government and the private sector, allowing her to provide her clients a unique perspective from both worlds. A veteran of the California State Assembly and Senate, Mitchell went on to senior management positions with energy, land management and water resources companies facing huge public affairs and public relations challenges before starting her own firm in 2006. She has served as Senior Budget Consultant in the California State Assembly, liaison to the Latino Legislative Caucus, Legislative Consultant to the Senate Majority Caucus and the California Senate Majority Leader. As part of her on-going commitment to her city and state, Mitchell serves on the board of the California League of Conservation Voters and as Los Angeles City Council Member Jack Weiss appointee to the Mulholland Design Review Board, a Los Angeles City Planning advisory board. In 2004, she served on the steering committee, at the request of First Lady Maria Shriver, of the annual Governor’s Conference on Women and Families.
