With over 9 years as President of teamCFO and over 25 years of experience in
both public accounting and private industry, Yamanaka has built a company which
specializes in providing outsourced CFO and controllership services to small
and mid-sized companies. Yamanaka’s extensive hands-on experience includes
managing teamCFO’s client financial operations, over 8 years experience
with Big 5 CPA firms and extensive private industry experience including tenures
with GE Capital, Zenith Insurance Company and Quaker State Corporation where
she served in various financial and operational capacities including Vice President
and Controller, Vice President-Finance, Vice President-Operations and Manager
of Quality Processes. A strong proponent for financial literacy, Yamanaka has
served on various boards and committees including The Los Angeles Women’s
Foundation, Santa Clarita Valley Resource Center and various public schools
to support non-profits and educational focus on financial literacy for women
and girls.
