Karen is CEO of Synergy Legal Professionals, a legal staffing company with seven offices around the country, which provides temporary attorneys to do electronic document review. She is also CEO and Co-Founder of Legally Organized, which provides errand, organizational and personal assistant-type support to busy professionals. Karen has over 20 years experience in the legal community, as a lawyer, legal staffing professional and marketing consultant. Prior to that she was Chief of Marketing at the large Los Angeles law firm, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Sullivan, LLP. A graduate of Hofstra University and Brooklyn Law School, Karen practiced commercial litigation with two large New York law firms. After leaving private practice, Karen ran national sales and marketing for, and was the Senior Vice President of, two of the largest national legal staffing firms. She has also provided business development and marketing consulting services to legal service providers around the country. She is also the author of a cookbook titled, Culinary Justice - A Cookbook for People who Can't Stomach Lawyers.
